Next up: Tailgate Under the Tent with us at 118 North

The band has been working hard to prep for our next live show this Friday, 9/24/21 at 8 pm Under the Tent at 118 North. Same funky jams but this time with a new instrumentation: we've got two guitars, another synth, and you might even see Drew Parker on the keys for a song or two! Also just added our good friends The Side Chicks playing before us at 6 pm. It’s gonna be a great night of live music in Wayne, PA and we hope to see you there! Free, outdoor event. Details below:

"Ours" Exclusive Premiere on the Cherry-Veen Zine blog

Today is the day!

Put your feet up, relax, and have a listen to our brand new single "Ours." Or better yet, check out the exclusive premiere on Cherry-Veen Zine’s blog. “Ours” is the second single off of our upcoming record, Funky Dinos, which will drop in September 2020.

Like what you hear?

Thank you to Paige and Kristen at Cherry-Veen Zine for premiering the new song. We were so excited to work with them on this because we love their zine and what they do for the Philly music scene! And of course, big thanks again to the You Do You team: recording engineer Brendan McGeehan at Retro City Studios and Lucas Kozinski at Sleepless Sound Studio, who mixed and mastered the track.

Don't worry - you won't have to wait long for more new music, because we'll be dropping a new single each month between now and the album release later this year. Until then, thanks for all of your support! xo

If you love Phish, the B-52s, and Janis Joplin, then it’s time you checked out Philly locals You Do You. Since 2012, Katie Feeney and her accompanying band of jazz musicians have been producing 70s-inspired dance and funk tunes and performing all around the city. What sets You Do You apart from their musical influences is their contemporary lyrical themes based on Katie’s experience as an environmental activist. You Do You’s latest songs are teeming with the frustration and struggle of passing climate change legislation in today’s political hellscape, but they’re still poised with optimism and strength.

Our new single has been getting some serious attention…

…and we’re so grateful for all of the support!

This song is the musical equivalent to sitting by a crackling, cozy fire. It warms your heart and lifts your spirit, AND it makes you hot chocolate...It feels like it transports the listener to a different time, all the while discussing current issues.
